I am a 29 year old Montessori teacher who loves to cook, eat, and run. I have been a vegetarian since I was 8 years old, but it hasn’t affected my love of cooking (or eating). I have recently changed my status to “pescetarian” and I am exploring how this effects both my diet and my cooking.
I grew up in New Mexico, which has greatly influenced my love of spicy foods, and have been a resident of the NE corridor for the past 10 years. My husband and I have recently relocated to New Haven, CT, though still spend lots of time in our previous haunts – Cambridge and Brooklyn.
My passion in the kitchen lends itself to elaborate meals, quick bites, and decadent baking. My passion for food leads me to explore the streets of Cambridge and Brooklyn (and of course surrounding areas) searching for the most authentic (hole in the wall) ethnic restaurants.
